Single Sided & Double Sided PCB’s
1 Layer & 2 layer PCB’s
At Pure PCB we have one overriding goal, to deliver reliable, competitive, quality and repeatable PCB’s you deserve.
With a passion for delivering great technology at market leading costs Pure PCB blends supply chain excellence with a total commitment to quality, ensuring that your PCB becomes a key source of competitive advantage in getting your new products to market.
Single sided or double sided PCB’s are readily available from companies that manufacture quickly and sometimes without the due diligence required. We offer technical advice from start to finish ensuring you get the best quality 1 or 2 layer board possible.
What are the differences between single & double sided boards?
A single-sided PCB is simple and affordable to produce. The base core material is often fiberglass (FR4) and the core has a layer of copper on it. The copper makes the board conductive and allows electricity to flow through. Then, solder mask that insulates the conductive copper sheet below is added and finally, they cover the rest of the layers with a silkscreen print that indicates the location for each part.
Double-sided PCBs involves the same kinds of layers as a single-sided board but instead a single sided copper core. During production holes are drilled called vias that can be plated or filled with a conductive, or non-conductive material. The electrical current travels from one side of the board to the other through the vias. Double-sided PCBs are mosre expensive than single-sided boards,
Here at Pure PCB, we have a range of surface finishes available for our Single sided & Double sided circuit boards:
